A special website TOKYO GARDEN has been opened as an online exhibition as part of the Ars Electronica Festival 2020!

The Ars Electronica Festival 2020 (Linz, Austria) will be held from September 9th (Wednesday) to 13th (Sunday) at physical venues and as 120 online projects or“Gardens”around the world. As part of the festival, a special website TOKYO GARDEN will open on September 9 (Wednesday) as the online "Garden" in Tokyo.
Featuring SAITO Seiichi from Rhizomatiks as the director, the website will introduce content from Ars Electronica Festival 2020 and the Japan Media Arts Festival including winning works, videos of creator's studios, talks by media artists and curators, and much more as livestreaming events.
TOKYO GARDEN is a place to explore the history and present of Japanese media art. As a website, we are preparing a lot of content such as new works by award-winning artists from the Japan Media Arts Festival, important talks, and online events that can only be seen here, so please do not miss it!
